ABOUT ROCKJAM!

These are 1 hour after school live music group workshops. It is where the kids get to play pop songs in a band format!

We teach the children how to play together in a band situation focusing on 1 or 2 songs per term and then twice yearly they get to perform at concerts put on by us in front of friends and family. We’ve seen some amazing results with children who might otherwise be shy developing a confidence and love for music they might not otherwise have gained! We organise the groups according to age and ability.

WHERE AND WHEN?

THURSDAYS. 3 WORKSHOPS AT 4pm – 5pm, 5pm – 6pm and 6pm – 7pm 

FRIDAYS. 3 WORKSHOPS AT 4.30 pm – 5.30pm and 5.30pm – 6.30pm 

The Location is St Mary’s School, Rectory Gardens, London N8 7QN. In terms of the weeks they are held, we mirror the Haringey comprehensive school term calendar.

New groups opening up on Mondays and Wednesdays, please get in touch!

WHAT INSTRUMENTS ARE ALLOWED?

 All instruments are welcome and singing of course!

ARE INSTRUMENTS PROVIDED?

Drums, a keyboard, mics, p.a and some amplifiers will be there. Let us know if you don’t have an instrument.

WHO CAN COME?

Anyone 7 yrs and above! You don’t have to be an HHMS pupil to attend the RockJam. In fact we encourage students to ask their friends along!

HOW MUCH IS IT AND HOW DO I SIGN UP?

It’s £19 for the hour workshops.

Numbers are limited so we will put you on the waiting list if your group is fully booked. For this reason half a term has to be paid in full (non refindable) to secure a place.
